Gold Advanced Exploration Project
The Biryuk area is located in the Northern Balkhash region, in the Aktogay district of the Karaganda region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Current stage is Advanced Greenfield Exploration
The total geological allotment area is 56 sq. km.
Key Highlights
- Located within a proven, highly prospective gold-bearing province
- Significant historical work completed: drilling, geophysics, geochemistry
- Independent technical reviews by SRK Consulting and SLR Consulting
- First JORC Exploration Target Report scheduled for release in Q1 2026
Regional Geology
The Biryuk is located within the north-eastern part of a large volcanic depression (420 km2), formed by Devonian to Permian volcanic and intrusive rocks. The depression includes a number of smaller calderas.
The relief of the region is mostly flat with several highly silicified volcanic vents that rise to 30-50 m above the plain.
Project Geology
Most of the Biryuk project area is composed of Permian volcanic rocks. Both Devonian and Permian subvolcanic and intrusive rocks crop out along the northern boundary of the licence and in its southwestern corner and have intrusive and tectonic contacts.
Drilling (2015, 2017, 2019, 2021)
79 total drillholes
23 thousand meters total drilled
Drilling confirms:
- Presence of mineralized structures
- Favorable alteration halos associated with gold systems
Geophysics
- Ground magnetic and IP/Resistivity surveys completed
- Chargeability and resistivity anomalies align with known mineralized trends
- Structural interpretation highlights multiple untested targets
Geochemistry
- Systematic soil and rock sampling completed over priority areas
- Strong Au-Ag-Bi-W anomalies identified
- Clear correlation with geophysical anomalies and structural features
SRK Consulting completed a technical review of the license area
SLR (Wardell Armstrong) is engaged to prepare a JORC Exploration Target (in progress)
JORC Exploration Target (In Progress)
Prepared by: SLR Consulting (Wardell Armstrong)
Expected delivery: Q1 2026
The report will include:
- Full 3D geological model integrating all historical datasets
- Interpretation of mineralized zones and structural architecture
- Recommended resource-definition drilling program
- Preliminary tonnage and grade range (JORC Exploration Target)
Next Steps After JORC ET:
- Phase 1 Drilling Program (designed by SLR)
- Conversion of Exploration Target Inferred Resource
- Updated valuation and development plan
